Thanks, Michael! I’m glad you listened. It’s truly a lovely piece, by Faure….and, I was overjoyed to be ready to perform it at the Art of Practicing Institute 2015. Do you play?

I played the piano for a few years in elementary school, and the guitar for a few years in high school, but no. In light of this offering, I cannot say that I play… 🙂 I think often that with a few rearrangements of the daily round I would enjoy to learn an instrument, but so far it has been little more than a pleasant thought. I do try and appreciate, though!

Many, many adults return to the instruments they loved as children and teens, and with surprising success. I have several adults in my private studio. It wouldn’t hurt for you to revisit the piano with somebody. R.A.
